Congregational Leader: Erez Aiger

Born in Tz’fat (Safed), Israel, in 1975, Erez spent his early childhood in Arad, a city near the Dead Sea. In 1982, his family immigrated to Portland, Oregon, where he was raised.

On May 14, 1997, at the age of 21, Erez experienced a profound and life-changing encounter with Yeshua the Messiah. Through this supernatural experience, he was born again by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). It was at this pivotal moment that a calling spoken over his life as a child began to unfold, launching a lifelong journey of spiritual growth, discipleship, and ministry.

Erez is a passionate student and teacher of the Hebrew Scriptures, dedicated to helping believers discover the richness of the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings through a Messianic Jewish perspective. His desire is to see the Body of Messiah mature in biblical wisdom, deepen its understanding of God's Word, and experience the fullness of ADONAI through the power of the Ruach HaKodesh.

As the leader of Congregation Oseh Shalom, Erez is committed to building bridges between Jewish and Gentile believers, strengthening the biblical foundations of the faith, and proclaiming Yeshua as Israel's Messiah while eagerly anticipating His return. He and Leah led Congregation Sh'ma Yisra'el in the Portland, OR area for 20 years before moving to Florida.

Fun Fact: Erez is the fifth-generation great-grandson of the renowned eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Torah scholar Rav Akiva Eiger, one of the most respected rabbinic authorities in Jewish history.
